Hi! I’m Kirbie, the heart behind Avery & Skaii Paper Co. — a home-based stationery shop nestled in the colorful suburbs of Birmingham, Alabama.

I’m a newly established stationery designer, proud dog mom to two pampered senior pups, and a self-proclaimed lover of all things romance and sci-fi fantasy. When I’m not at my 9-5, being the world’s silliest auntie, or diving into another design course, you’ll find me happily surrounded by paper goods, fonts, and big ideas. Designing stationery is my creative escape from this crazy world.

I first began this journey back in 2023 with a small holiday collection focused on Christmas. Life took a few unexpected turns, as it often does, but I found my way back — starting small and creating from the heart. As a proud member of a D9 Organization (OOP-OP!), I wanted to brighten up my workspace, which led to designing a few custom pieces for myself. That sparked interest from friends, family, and Sorors, and what started as small personal projects gradually grew into something more.

At Avery & Skaii, everything I create is rooted in joy and intention. Whether it’s semi-custom stationery for Divine Nine sororities or everyday notepads for the multitasking woman juggling work, school, family, and life — I believe in thoughtful, meaningful design that uplifts and celebrates the beauty in the everyday.
